Network Management Professional leaning against the column

"The staff at KKI has taken our network to the next level.  We contacted them for a quote to install a new computer network complete with a new server and new workstations.  KKI took the time to listen carefully to our unique needs and then designed a network  that is faster, more secure and much more reliable than our previous one.  In addition, Jonathan and the rest of the staff at KKI are extremely knowledgeable, professional, and friendly.  I would highly recommend KKI to anyone!"

Joe Blackmon

CEO

Joe came to KKI Technologies in 2002 after working in a wide range of technical and managerial capacities such as working with a DoD contractor, the National Center for Supercomputing Application (NCSA), the University of Illinois, and helping start a technical development company in Champaign, IL. After leaving the tech startup in the hands of investors, Joe was invited by his friend and brother in Christ, Elmo Joseph, to join the team of KKI Technologies, and realized the Lord was calling him and his family to make a surprising move to Bartlesville, Oklahoma! Since his arrival in 2003, Joe has enjoyed the fellowship of the men at KKI; focusing on building KKI into a truly Kingdom company with a reputation of integrity, high business standards and technical excellence. Joe believes that true success is knowing and doing the will of our Father in heaven.

Joe has also become involved with several local organizations whose goals are to end poverty within our lifetime. He strongly believes in serving the community of Bartlesville through the business that KKI provides, through personal and family involvement, helping organizations, and most importantly, by connecting folks who need help with folks and organizations can truly help so that both parties are be blessed in the process. Joe also loves spending time with his wife, Cyndi and daughter, Grace, and participates in Grace’s homeschooling and life in general, every chance he gets!

Elmo O. Joseph

Founder

Elmo was originally from S.E. Kansas and spent most of his school years in central Oklahoma.  He attended the University of Oklahoma and Pittsburg State College.

He went to work for the Missouri Kansas Texas Railroad in 1969. After 20 years with the railroad, he started Kontemporary Keyboards, Inc in 1989, which served most of S.E. Kansas by selling and installing computers. KKI progressed from a computer sales company to a computer service company in the 1990’s. Before the end of the 1990’s, KKI had become a computer network company and after 2000 became a technical consulting company. Today KKI has become a managed services company.

In the early 2000’s, KKI Technologies opened an office in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, expanding into N.E. Oklahoma. In 2004, Elmo moved from Coffeyville, KS to Bartlesville, OK where he lives with his wife Carol. Although semi-retired, Elmo continues to function in the ownership and leadership of KKI while enjoying his ten grandchildren.

Brad Winkler

Director, Operations

Brad Winkler is the newest addition to the KKI Team. As Director of Operations, he brings nearly 20 years of experience integrating teams and systems to achieve desired results. He holds degrees in Accounting and Business Administration. He has served as the Director of Administration for an international organization. In this position he led the Accounting, Human Resources, Facility Management, Construction, Planning and Project Management, IT, Volunteers, Security, Mailroom, Reader Services, and Reception departments.

In 2002, Brad lead an effort to create a comprehensive 40-year plan to consolidate the organization’s various buildings and properties onto one campus site. After years of work the plan was adopted, property was purchased, and several years later construction began. Today the goal of consolidation is being reached. This plan will save the organization tens-of-millions of dollars and provide a comprehensive site where all present and future activities can be accomplished while enhancing security.

In 2005 Brad and his family relocated to live and work in Thailand for three years. While living there they had the incredible opportunity to minister and travel throughout Southeast Asia and parts of the Middle East. He had the incredible experience of assembling teams of people to achieve ministry goals throughout Southeast Asia. Brad and his wife Eileen, along with their daughters Hannah and Sarah, now live in Bartlesville, where they greatly enjoy attending Grace Community Church and working with Focus on Persecution, a ministry to persecuted Christians.

Jonathan Filson joined KKI on January 1st 1995 as the Office Manager. Over the years he has held positions ranging from Office Manager to sales, to his current position of Network Operations. His primary function is to monitor and maintain the monitoring platform used by KKI as well as to respond to client network notifications. Jonathan holds an Associate of Arts Degree in Computer Science from Coffeyville Community College, Microsoft Certified Professional and Microsoft Small Business Specialist Certifications.

Mark Mays

Network Engineer

Mark Mays is a Network Engineer who has been recognized as a Microsoft Certified Professional. He also holds multiple HP Laser Jet Printer repair certifications.

Mark came to KKI in 2003 with a background in Office Management, Mechanics and Customer Service. He has worked hard to pair this experience with an innate ability to understand computer problems. This pairing gives him the aptitude to truly understand what a client wants and needs from their technology solution, rather than just the ability to “fix a problem.”  This outlook means that he enjoys working with our clients to give them the best solution possible.

In the often-times stressful field of information technologies, Mark is able to lean on a favorite quote, ”Be assured, if you walk with God and look to God, and expect help from God, He will never fail you.” - George Mueller

Andrew Munn

Network Engineer

Andrew Munn, a native of the Bartlesville area, joined the KKI team in 2009 bringing with him four years of practical hands-on experience in the computer industry. He has a degree in Management Information Systems and is currently working toward becoming a Microsoft Certified Partner (MCP) in Windows 7. Andrew is a huge asset to the KKI team. Most of our clients have openly praised Andrew for his helpfulness and genuine concern for the state of their computer systems.

In his early years, Andrew grew up in Bartlesville where he attended and graduated from Bartlesville High School. He was active at Town and Christian Church and in Boy Scouts Troop 23—achieving Eagle Scout on April 5, 2001. Today, he and his wife, Tiffiny and his 2-year-old son, Ethan attend First Baptist Church.

“After having been laid off for about 3 months with no responses from a lot of companies, God led me to turn in a resume at KKI Technologies, where it is just amazing how perfect the fit is!,” Andrew recently shared. He went on to say that he enjoys working at KKI because of the co-workers and the Christian environment that continually helps him to grow in his faith. He also enjoys KKI because it is a challenging environment that keeps him learning continually and because of the interaction with the clients.

Rob Nyhof

Sales & Client Services

Coming from a custom home building background, Rob responded to a job offer at KKI Technologies from his good friend and mentor, Elmo Joseph. That background has helped Rob make sure that in business meetings, technical solutions are presented in a way that clients can easily understand. He has developed a strong priority of making sure clients are fully satisfied and are equipped with solutions that are beneficial to their needs and that make good business sense.

KKI Technologies has allowed Rob to support his real passion, which is serving Jesus Christ.  When Rob’s not working for KKI, he is the student pastor at H2O Church in Bartlesville. His life goal is to know Jesus Christ more and more, and to pass the help God has given Him on to others.
